The Rand Institute serves as a resource to multiple constituencies:
- Counties, municipalities and government agencies throughout Southern New Jersey can benefit from the Rand Institute's ability to gather and strategically analyze information that translates into policy decisions. Additionally, the Rand Institute serves as a resource to assist public sector representatives in developing and implementing policy goals and objectives.
- Community groups and non-profit organizations benefit from the Institute;s ability to conduct applied research and provide technical assistance in the areas of organizational development, strategic planning and program design.
- The New Jersey Legislature will benefit through the Institute's ability to partner with them and augment the Legislature's capacity to analyze issues and develop legislation that better serves the residents of southern New Jersey. The Institute will serve as a vehicle for convening public forums on issues of regional and/or statewide significance.
- Teachers, students and community residents will be invited to the Institute throughout the school year and during the summer to participate in civic education workshops provided by Rutgers-Camden faculty, government officials, and policy makers.
