Educational outreach programs at the Rand Institute are tailored to three audiences:
- High School social studies and science teachers interested in a deeper understanding of social and environmental issues and how they are resolved in the policy process;
- High School and Community College students preparing for an academic experience that challenges them to develop practical responses to real policy problems;
- Private citizens and community leaders seeking the knowledge to participate more effectively in policymaking.
The Rand Institute brings participants in each of these programs together with Rutgers-Camden faculty and key actors from the public and private sectors to study specific problems and their implications for our region.
