Cyber Film School http://www.cyberfilmschool.com Cyber Film School is probably the best site on the internet for those interested in filmmaking. It has everything you wanted to know about making a motion picture, and if there is a question they haven't answered, you can e-mail their artist in residence. At this site you can download script templates, and production forms, checkout new screenwriters in the script showcase, read articles containing filmmaking tips, or follow the classroom instruction. Cyber Film School also contains links to many other film-related sites.

The Internet Movie Database Whenever you have a movie question, try the Internet Movie Database. Enter any information you may know about a film (stars, director, cinematographer); and the database will provide complete information, and all appropriate hyperlinks. Us eful for providing filmographies of film personnel, and crosslistings of major reviews.
The New York Times Online Provides an index of recent reviews and news stories about films. Soon, the Times will be searchable back to 1980 on the net. You have to register for this new service, but it is free at the present time. Users of America Online have acc ess to similar files, although it is easier to search for specific films at this time.
Writers Guild of America Information on writing for television and film. Especially useful is the Craft of Writing section which presents advice from expert script writers.
VideoMaker Online Aspiring video directors should visit this site for information on buying video equipment, and tips on filming. Provides an archive of the magazine's most helpful articles of the past year.

Ken Crane's Laser Disc Superstore Crane's company provides a complete listing of all films in the laser disk format, and links to all major video and laser disk companies. A good source when you ask that all-too-common question, "Is it available on video?"
The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences This site contains information on the Academy Awards and other programs sponsored by the Academy. It includes lists of winners including the Student Academy Awards, which recognize excellence in college and university student films.
