Grading/Assessment

Your final grade will be based on the following weighted scores:

• 5% for weekly assigned activities from the ZyBook (Participation and/or Challenge Activities).

• 20% for weekly homework problem sets (the worst score will be dropped).

• 10% for weekly quizzes (the worst score will be dropped)

• 30% for online midterm exams on Mar 3 and April 21

• 20% for final exam during the published final exam time slot on May 12

• 15% for lab assignments handed out during lab sessions on Fridays

Makeup requests for midterm exams and other assigned work will not be entertained except in the case of a verifiable, documented emergency (medical or personal). If you wish to request special accommodation, e.g. extra time on exams for medical reasons, please obtain the relevant documents from the Division of Student Affairs.
