3:00 PM on the assigned due dates. A one half grade deduction will be assessed
for each day the essay is late (e.g., one day late will reduce a B+ to
a B grade).
-
A student who has a legitimate reason
for not turning in an assignment on time can contact the instructor in
advance to request an extension. This decision is at the discretion
of the instructor.
-
If a student will be absent for a quiz,
he or she must contact the instructor in advance to make arrangements
for a make-up quiz, at the instructor’s convenience. No make-ups will be
granted unless the instructor is notified in advance and the student has
a legitimate reason for the absence.
-
Essays and quizzes will be graded and
returned to the students on the Friday following the due date, unless otherwise
notified by the instructor.
