Assessment

The class grade will be apportioned as follows:

• 15% quizzes

• 25% homework

• 50% exams

• 5% embedded video exercises

• 5% participation on Canvas discussions

There will be no final exam on the course. Requests for makeup exams or late submission of homework problem sets will generally not be entertained except in the case of a verifiable, documented emergency (medical or personal). If you need to request special accommodation, e.g. extra time on exams, for medical reasons, please obtain the relevant documents from the Division of Student Affairs.
