Backups are accomplished onto a series of DLT tape drives using NovaStor as the control software.

A client version of this software is loaded onto all of our PC based servers both Novell and Windows servers.

One server is designated as the console (server camden-nt11) and runs the administration version of the software.

Through the console different disk drive are define to dump their files unto certain tape devices at specific intervals – usually daily.

Bill has prime responsibility for changing tapes with Nancy as secondary response.
