Right! "Taking your victim as you find them" just means that if A is liable for injuring B, then A is liable even though B's injuries are more extensive than A would have reasonably anticipated. (The eggshell skull). But we only say this if there is liability in the first place for B. Now in the problem given, Jill was negligent with respect to Mike but not negligent with respect to Karen. We would only get into the eggshell skull problem if Jill were liable to Karen and caused Karen more injuries than Jill could have reasonably anticipated. But is Jill liable at all to Karen?
