Not quite. Although the person might think that if A
injures B, A must compensate B, you already know that this is not always
true. Unless A intentionally injured B, or negligently injured B, A will
not usually be liable. Also A might have several defenses available. Aside
from that, A might not be liable if the injury occurred in a really weird
manner, as in Palsgraf (page 304).
