Paper Option Two: Group Web Project

Teams of three to five students work together on a project that will be linked to the class web page and available as a resource for the rest of the class. The topic can be any of the issues or concepts covered in the course (Examples: Sacred Texts, Myth, Death and the Afterlife, New Religious Movements, The Religious Impact of the Holocaust, etc.) The group will divide up different segments of the topic between themselves and then combine their work into the finished project. A statement should be included that tells which individuals focused on which area(s). The instructor will be available to advise and refer you to resources for the computer side of this option. Where possible an effort will be made to team up students who are experienced with computers with those who are less knowledgeable. Individuals can form their own team or ask to be assigned to one. The first step in Option Two is for the team to meet briefly with the instructor to clear the topic and get advice on how to proceed. (The topic must be cleared so that projects do not overlap). Crit eria for grading will include analysis, creativity and quality of content.
