Research		I am interested in the design and analysis of algorithms for resource management in cellular networks, mobile computing, network configuration and scheduling, online problems, combinatorial optimization, data compression and encoding. Most of my publications are available online from their respective conference or journal websites.
Teaching		I am currently teaching two sections of Software Lab I (CS 112), and Object-oriented programming (CS 113) with its associated Software Lab II (CS 114).
Short Bio		My early years were mostly spent in Pune, India where I completed my high school education in 1979 at Fergusson College. Subsequently, I studied at the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur (IITK) and graduated with a bachelor's degree in Computer Science in 1984. That fall, I arrived in Philadelphia to begin graduate school at the University of Pennsylvania. Six wonderful years later, I left with a Ph.D. in Computer and Information Science and joined the faculty at the University of Nebraska, Lincoln in the Computer Science & Engineering department. In 1998, I moved to Rutgers-Camden, where I am currently the chair of the Computer Science department.
