Background:
I received my B.A., M.A., and Ph.D. from the University of Chicago and was a postdoctoral fellow at the Institute for Social Research Research Center for Group Dynamics at the University of Michigan with Shinobu Kitayama. I also conducted research at Kyoto University in Japan and the Max Planck Institute for Human Development in Germany. I've been on the faculty at Rutgers University in Camden since 2005. I conduct research on a variety of topics at the intersection of cognitive, cultural, developmental and social psychology. Click here to learn more about my most recent research.
