WELCOME TO KIEV!
Kiev - is a capital of Ukraine, newly independent country, former part
of the Soviet Union. It is the place where I was born. It's one of the
most beautiful European city. Some people say it looks like Paris. May
be because Kiev like Paris has green rolling hills with Golden Dombs shining
over the river Dnepr. Or may be, its the chestnuts trees that in the Spring
make the city look so festive with the white candles on them.
Kiev has a very rich culture and heritage. It's one of the oldest Russian
cities, and it was the first capital of Russia.It's filled with ancient
artifacts, churches and monuments that carefully preserved by people for
future generations.
