Doing research this year has provided me with a first hand experience of what 
         research really entails and has helped me to work better with others. It has 
         prepared me for the world of chemistry and has also enabled me to see 
         applications of chemistry, and I have learned the use of equipment such as the 
         glovebox, powder X-ray diffractometer, and the vacuum line. I have also 
         gained a great deal in terms of personal development because as a result of 
         the presentations which I have had to give, I have gained experience and 
         confidence in being able to discuss my findings with others. It has been a 
         tremendously wonderful and invaluable experience.
