The alternative must be submitted to WEBCT.  To do this, simply open a blank page in the Netscape Composer (click on "file,"  "new," and "blank page.") or Frontpage Express  or Microsoft Word or another editor.  Type your answers in the file, save it in html or ASCII text or Microsoft Word Format.  and submit it to the WEBCT Assignment Dropbox by the deadline.  If you are late, you can submit it to the Late Assignment Dropbox if it is still available (if you have not already used it).
