The midterm exam will be given in the first half of this hour.

Note:  Grades on the midterm will be posted as soon as the papers are graded.  They will be listed by the last four digits of your social security number.  If you prefer not to have your grades posted in this way, please send Dr. Goertzel an email to that effect.

After the midterm, we will meet in Interest Groups to discuss preparations for the projects for the rest of the semester.  Those students who wish to do so may finalize their proposals to prepare group projects.

Proposals for Group Projects must be submitted by October 22.  If you have not submitted a proposal by this date, you may not earn extra credit by doing a group project.
