Readings in net.wars

The net.wars book is available online, but you have to read it a page at a time (or print it that way), you cannot just save or print the whole thing.  You may find it more convenient to buy it.  Material from this book will be included on the Final, but not the Midterm.  You can get it quickly through amazon.com if you wish.

There are chapters in it on many but not all of our topics, since it deal with issues which raged in the past few years.  You should include links to chapters in net.wars in your group presentation if they seem relevant.

net.wars does not seem to cover VIDEO, so I will ask the group members to suggest other readings on that.

Copyright issues are covered in chapter 6.

Security issues are discussed in length in chapters 4, 5, 10 and 15.

Censorship and Pornography are covered in Chapters 7, 8 and 9.

Net Communities are discussed in chapters 3 (AOL) and 9 (relationship issues).

Net Commerce is discussed in chapters 2 and 14 and 15.  We will need additional, more up-to-date readings, however.
