Methods and Techniques of Social Research.  This is our second assignment, but it is not Assignment Two in the Workbook.  It is the Introductory Assignment on pages 13-18 of Social Research Using Microcase.

Instructions for doing the assignment on paper:  If you wish to turn this in on paper, you may simply tear the pages from the book (or photocopy them) and staple them together.  Or you may type your assignment, following the online instructions, then print it out and bring it to class.  Paper assignments must be submitted at the beginning of class, do not skip class because your assignment is not finished.

Instructions for doing the assignment online:  If you prefer to submit your assignment online, simply open this document in Netscape Composer or any other text editor capable of saving in html format.  Then type the answers to the questions, giving the question number.  You will find this quite convenient if you keep Microcase open in one window and your editor open in another window.  You can do the work in Microcase, then switch to the editor to type the answer, then switch back.  When you are finished, save the document with your assignment in html format, giving it the file name methodstwo.htm (or any other name you may prefer) and submit it to the WEBCT Assignment Dropbox.     Click Here for Instructions on Submitting Assignments to WEBCT.
