Your Name:

Instructions
- This assignment is only for students
who did not complete the interviewing assignment. If you
completed five interviews, you do not need to do this assignment.
- Go to the Globe of Weblogs
Election Page. It currently includes 18 pages of
WEBLOGS. Click on the page corresponding to your birthday if it
is a number between 1 and 18. If you were born later in the
month, subtract 18 from your birthday to select a page.
- Start at the top of the page and
begin reading the WEBLOGS. If one of them does not work for
technical reasons or is inappropriate for lack of election content,
just go on to the next.
- Save this file on a disk or your hard
drive, then open it in an editor such as Mozilla composer, Microsoft
Word or Word Perfect. Then type your answers to the questions on
this form. You can keep the form open in one window in your
editor and the Weblog open in another in your browser.
- Each Weblog you analyze counts as one
interview. If you did no interviews, do five WEBLOGS. If
you did some interviews, do enough to complete your quota of five.
- Print out your typed answers
and bring them to class by class time on November 1.
