Extra Credit Project Instructions
Social Movements
There are four steps.  Steps 1 to 3 are required, step 4 will earn additional extra credit.
  1. By April 7:   Submit a Proposal Form to the Assignment Drop Box.  No extra credit projects will be accepted unless a proposal has been submitted on time.  Feedback on your proposals will be posted in the Assignment Drop Box.
  2. By April 14:  Submit a completed Library Assignment for Social Movements form.
  3. By April 18:  Submit a Powerpoint or Microsoft Word presentation on your topic, including bullet points giving answers to your research questions and illustrative graphics.  This should be suitable for a 3 to 5 minute presentation to the class.  These should be uploaded to the WEBCT Assignment Dropbox so I'll have them for class on the 20th. 
  4. At 12 Noon on Wednesday April 26:  present a poster at the Department Poster Session.  This can include a printout of your presentation, plus additional graphics.  To do this, you must register on the Department WEB site at a date to be announced.
