American Association of Retired Persons (AARP) is the nation's largest organization for people age 50 and older. It serves their needs and interests through information and education, advocacy, and community services.

Fifty-Plus.net - Canadian Association of Retired Persons (CARP)  is a Canadian online community (incl. forums and chat rooms) which covers issues from finance to retirement, health, fitness... and fun! 

Gray Panthers are intergenerational activists dedicated to working for social and economic justice. Some of the issues they care about are universal health care, living wage, preservation of Social Security, and affordable housing.

HelpAge International is a global network of non-profit organizations working with and for disadvantaged older people to improve the quality of their lives.

International Federation on Aging is a private, non-profit organization linking approximately 100 associations that represent or serve older persons at the grassroots level in some 50 nations around the world.

Mental Health and Aging Advocacy Project, part of the Mental Health Association of Southeastern Pennsylvania, aims to assist older adults and their families in obtaining appropriate mental health services.

National Council on Aging (NCOA)  is an organization of professionals and volunteers dedicated to promoting the dignity, self-determination and well-being of older persons through leadership and service, education, and advocacy.
