African Restaurants, Shops, and Markets in the Delaware Valley
PHILADELPHIA
There are many such places located between 45th and 48th Streets along Baltimore Avenue in West Philadelphia and between 63th and 67th Streets along Woodland Avenue in Southwest Philadelphia. You can easily find such a place just by wandering through these areas.
Here are some others that appear in the Directory of African Community Resources (Balch Institute, 2001). You should call before you go to find out about their hours and whether they are still in operation.
