Each of you will write a paper utilizing one of the archives below from the Library of Congress. A wide variety of topics are possible. Investigate the following archives to see what topics might be of interest to you. Your research will not be limited to these archives, but should include information from them.
Once you have selected a topic, prepare a one page proposal. (See Writing History, p. 13, items 1-4 only). This will be due on October 1.
