First, log onto Yahoo Geocities at:  http://geocities.yahoo.com/gcp/    You will need your Yahoo username and password.

There is a confusing array of tools.  The best thing is to click on the "Create and Update" tab. 

To edit your site, the easiest thing is to  click on Page Builder (although you may use other tools if you like, or you may edit your page in Word or Composer and use "file manager" to upload it).  To open Page Builder, you need to disable popup blocking in order to open Page Builder.  If you click on the link and nothing happens, it probably means popup blocking is on.  To disable the IE popup blocker, click on tools and popup management.

The easiest thing to do is to just add a link to your research paper on your home page.  The alternative is to create a separate page for course materials and put the link on that page.  You should also upload some of the pictures used in your Powerpoint to the WEB page.  Do not, however, attempt to upload the whole Powerpoint.  There isn't room for them.

Once you open Page Builder, you can edit your page or pages as you did before.   You do not need to upload your research paper to Geocities.  Just type in the title and link to it at my site.  The URL's are here:
