1.   Use Excel to prepare at least three time series graphs illustrating social trends, using data taken from the Statistical Abstract of the United States.  Each graph may include one to three or four variables.

2.   Prepare a PowerPoint presentation with the following slides:
    1.  A slide with the title and your name
    2.  A slide with three bullet points introducing your presentation.
    3.  A slide with each of your three graphs.  These slides should be made in Excel and pasted into PowerPoint.  A paragraph summarizing each graph should be included in the "Notes" for each of these slides.
    4.  A slide with three bullet points summarizing your findings.
    5.   Any additional slides you may wish to include.

3.  The powerpoint file must be submitted to the assignment dropbox for Extra Credit Assignments in WEBCT by December 3.  No late extra credit assignments will be accepted.

4.  Be prepared to present your findings to the class during the week of December 6.
