description
The laboratory of Dr. Heike Bücking at Rutgers University,
New Jersey State University in Camden is seeking a postdoctoral
fellow to work on the regulation of nutrient uptake and transfer
in ectomycorrhizal and arbuscular mycorrhizal associations. The
ideal candidate is interested to work in a motivated team, including
graduate and undergraduate students on fundamental biological processes
in symbiotic associations and is experienced in physiological and
molecular techniques. Selected publications for information: Bücking

Qualifications
Ph.D. in Plant Science/Microbiology or Molecular Biology or a related
field is required. Candidates with experience in mycorrhizal or
fungal research, molecular or microscopical techniques, or labeling
techniques will be preferred. Effective written and oral communication
skills and publications in well known journals are essential.
