Research Interests
My research is in the field of synthetic organofluorine chemistry.
All the below molecules have
been
prepared by my own fair hands.
As well as their obvious
aesthetic
appeal, these novel fluorocarbons (and their numerous derivatives) find
a multitude
of commercial and industrial
applications
including chiral ligands, micron thin film and polymer coatings for
computer
chips, anhydrous electrolytes for
new electric battery design and lubricants, to name but a few.
